Security

The privacy notice covers what we collect, and the data protection page how personal information is looked after. This page covers how the site itself handles security.
How the site is served
The site is static pages served by Cloudflare over encrypted connections, and unencrypted requests are redirected to encrypted ones. It has no user accounts, no logins for visitors and no database. Cloudflare's network absorbs denial-of-service attacks, and Cloudflare hides the email addresses in the pages from programs that collect them.
What happens to what you send
The one page a visitor can use to pass information into the practice's records is the fee proposal acceptance page, reached through the personal link printed on a fee proposal. It sends what you enter over an encrypted connection to a program on Google's servers, which files it in the project's folder in Dropbox and emails us. Nothing you send is stored on the website itself. The planning constraints checker sends only the postcode you enter, and our code keeps no record of it.
What this site never does
It never takes a payment, never asks for card details, and never asks you to create an account or set a password. Nobody from Parallel will email you asking for a password or a full card number.
Reporting a concern
If you think you have found a security problem with this site, email [email protected] with the details.
This page is reviewed every six months and whenever the systems it describes change.
